All employees at Howard Kennedy are encouraged to participate in our Pro Bono Programme. This enables them to develop their skills and experience while providing high-quality legal advice to those who need it most.
We primarily receive referrals for pro bono work through our members ship of LawWorks - a charity that connects volunteer lawyers with people who cannot afford to pay for legal advice, as well as with not-for-profit organisations that support them.
We are signatories to the Joint Pro Bono Protocol for Legal Work, which promotes consistently high standards of pro bono practice and complements the professional codes of conduct that govern our work.
